Stand Alone Darkworld Books

Sunday’s Child – The Wise Guy is set in the Darkworld and tells the tale of a wizard who is about to ascend and become a mage. Randall Wise was born on the Sabbath and is a nice guy. Unfortunately, he has the idea that good guys finish last in love. Then a beautiful witch moves in next door and Rand’s whole life changes. Brenna Thorne thinks that looking like the girl next door doesn’t get you laid. That is, until she meets Rand. It’s a story about being true to yourself and it’s populated with memorable, fun characters including a familiar that isn’t a familiar.

This is the first book to delve into the magical community in the Darkworld. The story also references a painting by wizard Nick Diamond, who is the hero of The Whip & the Chair at the Pink Chair Diaries.

The next story to reference Nick’s work is Mating, a short story published by Freya’s Bower and an ARe bestseller. Mating’s companion story, Runaways, is also be published by Freya’s. The stories are about twin werewolves, Roul and Ranulf Verlaine, who find their mates suddenly. There is the possibility for a series of shorts based on Watchers, the company that Roul hires to watch Ran. Since Roul’s mate Morgan owns the company you would see more of them if I can find the time to write them.

Another short story set in the Darkworld is Ain’t Nuthin But a Hellhound, a dark tale that is part of the Weirdly 3 anthology coming from Wild Child Publishing. This story is unlike the other Darkworld stories. It’s happy ending is a far cry from the romance you usually expect from me. Lilah is half demon. Her mother was human but her father is a Demon Lord, ruler of the Hellhounds. Lilah’s ex is Xavion, the Lord of the Hellhounds.  Lilah’s father promised Xavion his throne if he mated with Lilah. However, Lilah, who saves the souls that the Hellhounds try to take, isn’t interested in the demon realm. When she receives a lesson about power from a human whose soul she saves, Lilah’s outlook on her father, Xavion, and the demon realm undergo a drastic change.

The Darkworld Pink Chair Diaries Trilogy are free reads that you can access by visiting the Pink Chair Diaries website. The first story in the trilogy is The Were & the Chair, the story of how bi-sexual werewolf Weylyn Randall meets his mate, Keir.  In Were, Weylyn receives the pink chair and his mate from Drake Keating, his former lover and good friend. In The Wiz & the Chair, Drake finds out about the chair from his neighbor and friend, Nick Diamond. Lonely and dissatisfied with his life, Drake buys the chair for Weylyn, but end up using it himself when he rekindles a relationshop with Justin Scott. Nick Diamond, the hero of the third story in the trilogy, The Whip & the Chair, is an artist and a master with a whip. A Dom who’s lived a BDSM lifestyle for more than twenty years, Nick is shocked when his current model asks him to whip her. He discovers that Ione isn’t a sub. She’s something far more intriguing.

With each book that Vahid is in, the layers of his personality are revealed until the shocking revelation of who Vahid Delrey really is comes to light in Tales of the Darkworld Book 4, Ride the Lightning. Vahid’s mate and backstory will hold you riveted! Vahid is in Hot Water, Fire Season, Ride the Lightning, and Fire Storm.
