What is the Darkworld?
The Darkworld is a universe just like our own. The Darkworld itself is one of the Five Realms of this universe and is just like earth with the same countries and cities, but with the addition of creatures that do not inhabit our world. The Five Realms are the Darkworld, the Faeworld, the Afterworld, the Shadoworld, and the Netherworld. The Netherworld is the Five Realms version of Hell. The Shadoworld is a strange plane that lies between the Darkworld and the living and the Afterworld and the dead. The Faeworld isn't exactly a full blown realm but rather a part of the Darkworld that lies behind the Veil of the Jewel Box, cutting off the fae folk from the rest of the Darkworld denizens.

The Five Realms

The Darkworld

The Darkworld mirrors Earth. However, the world is populated by races other than human. Vampires, dragons, werewolves, the fae, demons, angels, witches, wizards and more live there. Every sort of shifter imaginable. Every type of fae. The Magia - a race of beings born with magical abilities who train as witches and wizards. You name it, they live here. 

The Faeworld

Behind the Veil of the Jewel Box lies the Faeworld.It's really a part of the Darkworld but just cut off from it. The Circle of Fifths (the reigning fae royalty - the Pixie Prince, the Fairy Queen, the Elven King, the Goblin King, and the Satyr Regent) rule the Faeworld together and use their power to keep their part of the Darkworld separate from the rest. 

The Afterworld

The Afterworld is the realm of the dead. It's a lot like a retirement community, but in this world there is no PMS, no births or deaths, no aches or pains, and your body isn't corporeal anymore.

The Shadoworld

The Shadoworld lies between the realms of the living and the realms of the dead. It is here that the Fallen Angels live.
